Trevor and grandpa Garrrard chillin' before the feast.

Logan works off a little stuffing playing lightsabers with his cousins.
We got out some old toddler toys for Logan. Looks like "tweens" like them too.
Gavin doing his best impression of a rabbit.

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a little football.

Nice tackle Trevor!
Natalie catches a few z's before pie.

natalie is having a great nap
ReplyDeleteBrian - this is awesome!! Thanks so much for posting these pics. We sure miss being with you guys, especially around the holidays. But it's really great to see the familiar sights of T-giving dinner and the gang (pre- and post- eating) Espcially to see my parents whom we haven't seen for a year. Thanks for playing host to our gaggle of Garrards. I hear everyone rave about the dinner afterwards, so I know it's always appreciated.

ReplyDeleteNice pictures! Amy and her helpers did a great job on the turkey....it is such a nice brown color all over...I am sure it was delicious! The kids look like they had fun hanging out and Natalie had the right idea to get some zzzzz's after the big meal. Oh...what do you do with parsnips? Cook them like sweet potatoes? Let me know...I am always looking for new recipes to file away.
ReplyDeleteWow Sandy, my mom will be DELIGHTED to share the recipe - especially since nearly everyone in my family LOATHES parsnips at Thanksgiving except Brian, me, and my mom. LOL She insists on the parsnips as a Nova Scotian tradition. You'll make her day.
