Popcorn Treats

We decided to give popcorn treats to our neighbors and church friends this year. So we broke out the Whirly-Pop and got to work. By the time it was all said and done we had about 15 bags of kettle & caramel corn (and enough on the floor to fill another 15). It was a lot of work, and we'll probably simplify the process a bit next time, but it was a fun family project. Once the treats were ready, we threw the cushions from our old brown couch, a bunch of pillows, and a big Coleman sleeping bag in the back of my pickup. Then we were off to make the deliveries.

A Christmas Carol

We went to the Hale Centre Theatre for a production of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". They put on a fantastic show, and we'd definitely like to make it an annual tradition. Amy commented on the professionalism of both the cast and crew. The actors were very talented and polished, and the set changes were almost imperceptible. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, even the kiddos; although I think Gavin and Trevor were a little bit spooked by the ghosts of Jacob Marley and Christmas past. I secretly delighted in this. Is that mean?
